North Hollow Drive
High-End Residential Exterior Visualization
North Hollow Drive is a minimalist country house originally designed by Harry Bates and completed in 1981. Its architecture is elemental by intention: bold proportions, clean lines, warm materiality, and nothing unnecessary.
The brief was to visualize a new linear extension, a 2-car garage and 4th bedroom with bath, without compromising what makes the original building work.
One of the garage bays would house a 2016 black Porsche 911. The extension needed to feel like it belonged.

Full base geometry and terrain were reconstructed from the available references, with inconsistencies resolved against the building's original logic. Material development covered physically accurate cedar, gravel, glass, and corten steel under soft natural daylight.
The glass-covered breezeway connecting the original structure to the new extension was a key element, creating visual continuity from front to back yard. The open garage with the Porsche positioned for scale grounds the addition without overexplaining it.
