Living Forms

Living Forms is a furniture visualization project developed for Stowed Home’s 2025 catalogue, with a focus on their signature living room collection. Our mandate covered the complete 3D production pipeline — from bespoke modeling to scene construction and final rendering — all aimed at replacing traditional photography with indistinguishably realistic CGI.

Each featured piece — from lounge chairs and modular sofas to sculptural accent tables and reclaimed wood consoles — was custom-modeled based on technical drawings and real-world references provided by Stowed. Materials were built from the ground up to match the brand’s signature finishes, including brushed oak, polished travertine, matte boucle, and worn-in leather. These were layered with subtle variations and imperfections to ensure believable realism at every angle.

We designed and modeled the environment to function as a clean, natural-light-filled architectural container. Window and door openings, ceiling height, and spatial flow were all strategically defined to support multi-angle product framing and soft daylight animation. The setting was then styled with minimalist decor to bring scale and story to each scene, without overwhelming the furniture.

Rendered at ultra-high resolution, this series supports Stowed Home’s print catalogue, digital product pages, and visual specification tools. The result is a production-ready asset library — visually refined, technically consistent, and built for repeatable use across seasons.

Four operating principles that made the numbers possible.

Subscription access over per-render quoting

Fixed-rate access removed the per-image negotiation that slows most studio engagements. The creative brief moved first. The invoice never became the bottleneck.

Parallel scopes, not serial queues
